Hi, and welcome to Complexity Navigator!

You were born into a world brimming with complex challenges. The prosperity of the community you lead and belong to depends on your ability to navigate these challenges effectively. This is your journey through the world of complexity. You are the hero of this story, and Complexity Navigator is here to guide you. It will help you uncover the underlying causes where others only see symptoms. It will assist you in remaining calm and focused amidst uncertainty. Let the journey begin.

Hi, my name is Yevgen, and I'm the author of Complexity Navigator. I believe that the ability to recognize and master complex challenges is the foremost skill required to survive and thrive in the 21st century. Our destiny, both as individuals and as a society, hinges on this crucial skill. My mission is to develop tools that guide people through these challenges. As a professional systems architect, I work daily with complex systems, including technical, social, and physiological ones. I understand their structures and appreciate the challenges they pose. My superpower in understanding complexity is my inner diversity. Born in Ukraine into a Jewish family and having lived for many years in Germany, I blend the Ukrainian sense of freedom, the Jewish tradition of lifelong learning, the German drive for quality, and the European commitment to social solidarity. This inner diversity allows me to approach challenges from various perspectives and to see the forest for the trees. I hope you will find helpful insights in my blog. I would be delighted if the Complexity Navigator service could assist you on your journey through this world of complexity. I reside in the small city of Bruchsal, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. I am fluent in English, German, Ukrainian, and Russian. Feel free to contact me in any of these languages or connect with me on LinkedIn. I organize IT meetups in Bruchsal. If you are interested in attending an event, hosting one, or giving a talk, please contact me. You can find our Meetup group on LinkedIn or on Meetup.com. I regularly give talks at conferences, meetups, and on podcasts. My topics include socio-technical systems and the role of AI in reshaping software engineering. If you are interested in having me speak at your event, you can find my portfolio of talks here.

Socio-Technical Engineering Workshop

Socio-technical engineering is a holistic approach to managing your software projects. It treats your organization and the technical products it develops as an integrated socio-technical system. The concept involves applying principles from systems engineering to this system, which includes eliciting requirements, designing, testing, and troubleshooting.

What makes this workshop unique is its pricing policy. You decide what to pay—no kidding. Only you can assess the value this Workshop provides to you. Not me. So, you decide what and if you want to pay me.
